INTRODUCTION

My name is Jorge Munevar Rojas, I’m a law student. I love my career, because I consider it a mean to help people, and contribute to society. I love sports, I’m an athlete, and I practice specifically long jump and triple jumps.

I consider myself an enthusiastic person, who loves Italian food, pizza is a one of my favorites; for this reason every time I travel to a new destination, I have to try the local pizza. In addition I love to know new people in the places, I visit when I travel, since I think it is a very interesting way to know the place from a different perspective and not only from the travel agency’s perspective.
In the other hand, due to my athlete’s conditions I like to go the local athletic stadiums, because I see them as a perfect environment to interact with other athletics and trainers, in that way I can learn more about this sport.
My favorite places to travel are in the Caribbean zone, because I like the ocean a lot. Every time I visit this zone. I spend almost the whole day in the beach.

why this blog

I hope this blog can help you travel through my eyes. I write this blog to share my experiences in a trip a think was very special and fun. This was when I went to the Rodadero, a beautiful city, with a unique charm and peculiar scent. Besides, as tell the story, I will show a piece of my country, Colombia, full of wonderful landscapes, shapes and colors. I will tell you about my trip to Rodadero.
MY TRAVEL

This was one of the most special trips, I have made, because I learned, saw and felt many things. One of the most beautiful things about this city is its people’s warmth, gentle and kind people; I remember the nights where totally different than the days. All the sales people took their chairs out in the beach, so that the tourist could enjoy and appreciate the night and the beautiful sea, its noise and delicious breeze which in that time of the year, December, blew harder than any other time of the year. In this time, the  winds entered to the beach of Rodadero, or as locals say “La Loca”.

Another gorgeous place is saw during my trip, was the crystal beach. Although the arrival was a bit complicated at the end was worth it. The name was perfect to describe the beautiful sea’s feature at this place. I remember I swam hours and hours with my snorkel and fins, especially in the coral’s place. It was amazing to see too many fish, coral reefs and more.
In that moment I could appreciate the wide variety of life forms in our ocean and that was just a tiny place.

One of the places I visited, was the ancient city in Santa Marta, I learned some facts about the life and story of Simon Bolivar. The most important part was a marble statue of Simon Bolivar’s body when he died. I found it intriguing to tell the truth…
In addition, I must say, I was fascinated with some outs trees in the place, which were more than a hundred years old. Their shapes and sizes were amazing their interaction with the space and the constructions were magnificent.
